Description
The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has decided on the next-generation SIM card, also known as the nano-SIM card. The new iPhone 5 will use nano-SIM cards. The 4FF (fourth form factor) design will be 40% smaller than the current Micro-SIM version (3FF), and it should help smartphone and tablet makers reduce the size of SIM trays in future devices. The new Nano-SIM will be 12.3mm x 8.8mm x 0.67mm and it will be backwards compatible with current SIM card models (Micro-SIM (3FF) and standard SIM (2FF)) and it will offer the same functionality. With our Nano-SIM to standard (normal) SIM adapters you can bring back the Nano-SIM card to the size of a 2G SIM hassle free and use it on any device using standard SIM cards: Samsung Galaxy S2, a Blackberry, or any other device with the 2FF (standard)
